Non mi ritrovo con i termini , l'insieme dello zaino tattico io lo conosco come FARDELLUM , per SARCINA intendo la borsa di cuoio atta a contenere gli effetti personali fatta con la forma della BUSTA da LETTERA , che si aggancia alla FURCA o FIRCA cioè il bastone di legno incrociato, oltre alla SARCINA conosco la PERAE una sacca di cuoio capace di contenere la PAENULA impermeabile con cappuccio in lana cotta , oltre a questo potevano esserci ulteriori sacchette di cuoio o retini atti a contenere riserve di cibo e pentolame personale. Bene il TEGIMENTA sullo scudo ma lo SCUTUM lo si agganciava sulla spalla sinistra o sulla schiena durante la marcia per avere una mano libera mentre l'altra la destra con l'ausilio dell' intero braccio manteneva la FURCA nella posizione inclinata. Sul bastone trasversale della FURCA viene comodo legarci anche un SAGUM una coperta in lana cotta.
